Over the past 10 years we have developed strong relationships with some of the finest gourmet food producers and artisan makers around Australia. By listening, learning and consistently sourcing the products on our wholesale and retail customers wish lists, we have grown The Gourmet Shelf from humble beginnings to the decadently diverse virtual pantry it is today.
After gathering customer & industry feedback on a wide range of gourmet products for a decade, The Gourmet Shelf owners, Michelle & Tyson Osborne, decided to create their very own gourmet brand in 2020. The Rare Bear range of delicious gluten free, vegan-friendly pestos and pasta sauces were cooked up to serve increased consumer demand in Australia for high quality, full-flavour, health-conscious options for busy families.
